Mock exams aim to create conditions as close as possible to that of the real Birmingham Authority 11 Plus Exam. 

Each year we carry out thorough research on the format, content and experience of sitting the exam by talking to children who have sat the exam. Our examination papers and processes are adapted each year to reflect this allowing us to provide an authentic exam experience for all children. 

Realistic Exam Conditions 

The exams will take place under exam conditions and last for approximately 2 hours. Instructions given to children during the examination are as close as possible to those given in the real examination.

Detailed and Specific Feedback

Following completion of mock exams at Tintagel Tutoring, we will provide parental feedback which is detailed and specific within 7 days of the exam. This feedback will include how well your child performed in each section of the test. Many parents and children have found this to be extremely beneficial in the past as it has allowed them to focus their child's practice at home tageting any specific areas of weakness prior to the actual 11 plus exam.
